There have been various odds and ends — articles written intermittently over the past few decades on issues that have excited or agitated me. Besides my fiction and academic writings on management, these have given voice to opinions that I hold dearly — on the arts, for example, on communalism and violence, or the cult of management that is slowly drowning us in the quicksand of cultural amnesia. This 'third front' within my writing portfolio has had more than its intended consequences — it has helped me stay centred on what matters most to me, in fiction and in life.
